Cancellation policy取消政策

If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact me at least 48 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Appointments rescheduled less than 48 hours prior will be billed half of the session rate. Missed appointments, or cancellations and rescheduling with less than 24 hours of notice, will be charged at the full fee.

Confidentiality保密

Confidentiality is an essential element in creating a safe and supportive environment in which you feel comfortable to explore your challenges. Your clinical record is strictly confidential and will never be released to any third party without your written consent. As a Registered Social Worker, I strictly adhere to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice outlined by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

There are a few situations in which I am legally obliged to break confidentiality in order to protect the safety of a client or another individual. These include:

• Risk of harm to yourself or another person. 对自己或他人造成伤害的风险。
• Suspected abuse or neglect of a child under 16 (I am legally obliged to report to the Children's Aid Society under the Child and Family Services Act). 涉嫌虐待或忽视 16 岁以下的未成年人（根据《儿童和家庭服务法》，我有法律义务向儿童援助协会报告）。
• A court subpoena of the clinical record (where possible, I will contact you before releasing any information). 法庭传唤有关事件的临床记录（如有可能，我会在发布任何信息之前与您联系）。
